In an interview on the legendary Juan Epstein Podcast, Redman admits that he stole a MOBO Award when only Christina Aguilera was given a statue for their collaboration Dirrty.
Redman caught up with New York radio DJs Cipha Sounds and Pete Rosenberg on their legendary Podcast Juan Epstein earlier this week and when the subject turned to the rapper’s awards, he admitted that he thought the MOBO Awards were called the MOMO Awards and that he’d stolen one in 2003, the year he and Christina Aguilera won for Best Video.
“We was nominated for a MOMO Award overseas” the New Jersey legend offered, before being corrected by up and coming R&B star Miguel “MOBO, it’s MOBO” Redman continued “I stole one of those matter of fact. I did, they didn’t want to give me one, they just gave Christina one and left me empty handed. It don’t say anything it’s just blank”
